Improvements: 


Mapping field improvements FD for Form.

  1. Users can now map template fields and form fields in a card.

  2. When users have the same template field and form field, then those field values will be mapped automatically.

Congratulations Kim Mason for being selected as the user of the month of January for Fillable Document. Kim Mason has been a user of Fillable Document since June 2020. This is what he does with Fillable Document:

Challenges and Solutions


Challenges faced


Phil Brooks(name changed) who is one of the users of Fillable Document has been using it for his official purpose. He is mainly using the lookup field type. He wrote to us asking for the following

“I need Fillable Document to automatically populate the look-up values when the form is loaded”

Solution


We discussed it with our team and found that it is enhancing user effectiveness by pre-filling forms with default values from spreadsheets. Soon we arrived at a solution for Phil’s use case. We have introduced the “Apply Default search” option in Lookup field type, this will help phil to automatically populate the look-up values when the form is loaded.
