Conditional Approval, Add member to Google Chat and Free License

  • Introduced configuring conditions in the approval workflow process so approval can be directed via conditions.

  • Introduced the 'Add Member to Google Chat' service for Jivrus (internal).

  • Introduced "Free License" as a menu item.

Signature Support in Approval Workflow Process

  • Introduced signature support in the approval workflow process so it can be attached in Google Docs, Slides, and generated documents.

The User of the Month - September 2023


Congratulations James Castle for being selected as the user of the month of August for Form Director. James has been a user of Form Director since June 2023.

Challenges faced


Maxwell(name changed), who is one of the users of Form Director wrote to us asking the

following question


"Hello, I am using the Form Director extension to automatically create Google Calendar events out of my Google Form responses. The events are successfully being created, but I am not seeing invites being sent to the Guests that I included in the automation. I am attempting to automatically invite an Outlook calendar (my work's email is Outlook based). 


Can you help me resolve this?".

Solution


For Maxwell's use case, We suggested him to enable sending invitations. For this he need to enable the "Send Invitation" switch in his Google Calendar configuration. After doing this he is able to automatically send email invitations.
