The User of the Month - October 2023

Kudos to Mr. Ray Bergez on his selection as the October User of the Month for Form Builder. Ray has been an active Form Builder user since September 2023.

Here's his feedback on Form Builder:

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the Form Builder tool. It has been an absolute lifesaver! This user-friendly platform has significantly reduced the time and effort I used to spend on creating forms. Its intuitive design and wide range of templates make form creation a breeze. Thanks to Form Builder, I can now focus more on other important tasks while ensuring that my forms are professional and efficient. It's a true time-saver, and I couldn't be happier with the results!

You can find the User of the Month showcased on our community website's Spotlight page. For additional information, please visit the Spotlight page.

Challenges and Solutions

Challenges faced

One of our Form Builder users, Robert (name changed), recently reached out to us with a specific query. He inquired:

"I was receiving this error after applying all my settings and attempting to import.

Unsucessful import. Error: { "error": { "code": 400, "message": "Batch update failed: update results in the schema exceeding the entry limit", "status": "INVALID_ARGUMENT" } }

The form Preview looks great.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!"

Proposed Solution

For Robert's question, It is due to a limitation in the Google Forms API. The Google Forms API, which the Form Builder uses to import questions, indicates that the update exceeds the schema's entry limit.

To address this, we recommend importing questions in smaller groups rather than in one large batch. You can do this by importing questions in chunks of 1 to 200. Utilize the custom range selector to choose the specific question chunks for import.
