Challenges and Solutions

One of our new user, Michael (name changed), recently contacted us asking the following:

"I tried to import questions from a Google Sheet to a Form using Form Builder Plus. There are around 150 questions on this particular survey, and I wanted all the selections to be a drop down menu. Is there a way to apply “drop down” to the entire list of questions?  Thanks!"

Proposed Solution

For Michael's use case, there are two ways he can set all questions to "Dropdown" in his form:


1. Set the Type in the Sheet: You can directly set the type to "DROPDOWN" in the "Type" column of your Google Sheet. Simply update this column for all questions, and it should import correctly as dropdown options.

 


2. Use the Advanced Features Section: If you have multiple-choice questions, you can set the type to "DROPDOWN" in the Advanced Features section
