Challenges and Solutions

Challenges faced 75469

Andrew (name changed), a Form Director user, reached out with the following question:

"I just went on to reprocess a submission and all of my automation services are gone. Any idea why this is occurring? Is there a way to recover them?"

Proposed Solution

For Andrew's question, When using Form Director, all configurations are stored in the destination spreadsheet. To access the destination sheet, simply navigate from Google Forms Responses by clicking on the Spreadsheet icon.

If the destination spreadsheet is unlinked or deleted, Form Director loses all the saved configurations. So, if you open Form Director after deleting the linked destination spreadsheet, your previously configured services will no longer be visible.

To fix this:

• Do not unlink or delete the destination spreadsheet.

• If done accidentally, re-link the same destination spreadsheet to restore all services.

• If the spreadsheet was deleted, try restoring it from the Trash folder in Google Drive.
