The User of the Month - May 2023


Congratulations Mr. Ian Macasa for being selected as the user of the month of May for Form Director. Ian Macasa has been a user of Form Director since January 2023.


This is what he does with Form Director:


“We used Form Director to auto-create events in google calendar base on the response made by the users on our booking forms”


This is what he feels about Form Director:


“I love this Form director. It is a great solution to automate creating event in your google calendar from google forms. It is very accurate and I highly recommend it for this purpose. As a booking coordinator, form director has made my task very easy. I now just focus on new responses from the google forms and verify if events are created in the calendar. No more tedious manual creation of events in google calendar.”

Kenny(name changed), who is one of the users of Form Director wrote to us asking the following question


“I am planning to do a training session with my staff. I have roughly around 50 staff and there are two different slots they can choose from. In my google form, they can select which slot they would prefer.


I want to send an automatic email with a calendar invite and the Zoom link based on the date they have chosen.


Can I do this?” 


Solution


For Kenny’s question, Yes he can achieve this using Form Director. 

To accomplish his desired outcome, he can make use of Form Director's "Add guest to event" service, which is integrated with Google Calendar. By simply enabling the "Send email invitation" switch, participants will automatically receive an email containing a calendar invite. Furthermore, he can easily include the Zoom link in the description of the event to ensure participants have all the necessary details.
