Rate Us and Text Parsing fix


  1. A text parsing fix to parse Google Docs more accurately.

  2. Users are now able to rate the Form Builder add-on directly from add-ons.


AI output text preview and Scale type question support


  1. AI provides output text in preview for review, editing, proceeding, or regeneration.

  2. Support for configuring SCALE Type questions has been introduced in text files such as Google Docs and Google Slides.



Support for exporting Scale type fields to Docs and Slides


  1. A text parsing fix to parse Google Docs more accurately.

  2. Support for exporting Linear Scale (SCALE) Type questions has been introduced in Google Docs and Google Slides.

The User of the Month - May 2023


Congratulations Mr. Stephen Kerry for being selected as the user of the month of May for Form Builder. Stephen Kerry has been a user of Form Builder since March. 


This is what he feels about Form Builder:


“Easy to use and create surveys from Google Sheets. Gives me a lot of flexibility to create custom surveys which I could not get from other services.”

Challenges faced


Harry(name changed), who is one of the users of Form Builder, has been using Form Builder for his official purpose. He wrote to us asking the following question


“I have questions and answers in my spreadsheet that I want to import into the Google Form. I am using Form Builder Plus. After importing the leading numbers get eliminated from both the question and the answer if it is a decimal.


Can you help me?” 



Solution


For Harry’s use case what we suggested him to do is, ask him to switch on the “Retain question numbers and option numbers” option in Form Builder Plus. By enabling this option, Form Builder will preserve all leading numbers in both questions and options during the import process. This means that the decimals will no longer be eliminated.
