The User of the Month - April 2024


Kudos to Sujatha Krishnamachari on her selection as the User of the Month of April for Form Builder. Sujatha has been working as a teacher in a school.

“Totally loved it. Its so easy to prepare questions and have the kids go through it with explanation. Very easy to understand the interface and convert from Google Docs to Google Form. Very useful tool.”

Challenges and Solutions


Challenges faced



One of our Form Builder users, Pat (name changed), recently reached out to us with a specific query. He inquired:

"I am trying to see if Form Builder works with Math problems and graphs as well. The equations and expressions didn't come through." Can you help me resolve this.

Proposed Solution

We examined Pat's document and discovered that Form Builder presently doesn't interpret mathematical equations. Upon further investigation, we determined that utilizing Google Apps Script functions to extract text doesn't accurately capture the equations. This restriction hinders our ability to obtain them with precision. Even the method of copying and pasting into Google Forms doesn't accommodate this.

Consequently, we advised Pat to submit images of the equations, as this is the recommended course of action.
