Custom Email Providers: 

An email provider basically is a provider of email service. It provides the service to send email for other organizations or end users on their behalf.

• Email Service Providers are built to handle large volume email sends both in terms of size and speed.

• The in-built Email Provider (Gmail) has limitations on the number of recipients that can be included on an email and how many emails you can send in a time period.

• Form Director provides Custom Email Providers feature to overcome the limitations of in-built Gmail.

• The supported Custom Email providers are as follows

1. Gmail Email Provider (the in-built default email provider)

2. Amazon SES Email Provider

3. Mailgun Email Provider

4. Sendgrid Email Provider

5. Mailchimp Email Provider

The User of the Month - April 2024

Challenges and Solutions

Challenges faced

Phil(name changed), who is one of the users of Form Director wrote to us asking the

following question

"I created 13 unique automatic responses to a google form that I created, tested it and closed the document. When I tested it again today, the automatic emails are gone and no longer in the form director….how do i recover these?"

Proposed Solution

Regarding Phil's use case, the saved service configuration is stored within the associated Google Sheet. If Phil has unlinked the Google Sheet, the services will be lost. Hence, Phil must relink the sheet to regain access to those configurations.
