Challenges and Solutions

Challenges faced

One of our new user, Michael (name changed), recently contacted us asking the following:

"I have been trying to import a image with a few of my questions. I am using column G for my images. In sheets I have imported the images using insert image into cell.

When I import the sheet into form Builder, I select column G for images. The images do not import when the quiz is created in Google Forms."

Proposed Solution

For Michael's use case, Form Builder requires image URLs instead of embedded images in your Google Sheet to successfully transfer them into the quiz or form.

To resolve this, please add the URL link to each image in column G, rather than inserting the actual image into the cell. This way, when user import the sheet into Form Builder and select column G for images, they will be correctly added to your quiz in Google Forms.
