Challenges and Solutions


Challenges faced


Carlo who is an user of Sheet Director wrote to us asking the following question 


"I just noticed that all my Sheet Director connections disappeared from my Google Sheet. I tried adding them back, but it's taking too much time and causing issues. Can this be fixed on your end?"


Proposed Solution


For Carlos's question, Upon investigating we found that this issue occurred because the "_Sheet_Director_Configuration" tab was accidentally deleted. This tab is essential for maintaining the connections and should not be removed. Instead of deleting it, he can hide it to keep his sheet organized.

To restore the deleted tab we suggested him to:
1️⃣ Open his Google Sheet.
2️⃣ Click on the clock icon (Version History) in the top right corner.
3️⃣ Check previous versions to find the one where the configuration tab was still present.
4️⃣ Restore that version to recover Sheet Director connections.

By following these steps, Carlo's connections was back and running smoothly!
